Work Experience:
- Acting for a developer on a project worth Kshs. 1 billion and advising on site acquisition, land amalgamation, project structure, construction contracts, regulatory compliance and approvals for a large scale mixed-use development comprising of a commercial development, residential development and a hotel.
- Advising a leading manufacturer of Home and Hygiene Essentials who contracted with an international investor for the construction of a manufacturing plant under a private partnership arrangement for USD 2 million.
- Acting for a developer undertaking the sale of 120 commercial units in Westlands, Lenana road and Upperhill which included among other activities drafting agreements for sale, leases, car park licences, valuation and registering the leases.
- Advising an investor in the acquisition of an internationally branded hotel worth Kshs. 450 million. This included undertaking due diligence of the target, negotiating the share purchase agreement and effecting the transfer at the appropriate Registry.
- Representing financial institutions in the perfection process which includes due diligence on persons, entities and assets, preparing various security documents, supporting financiers on the ardhisasa platform, undertaking registration at the appropriate registries.
- Undertaking company secretarial matters including incorporation of entities, restructuring of shareholding, conversion reconversion, attending to board meetings, filling appropriate returns and undertaking legal audits.
