Caroline’s areas of specialization include Litigation and Dispute Resolution, General Corporate and Commercial Law, Environmental and Land Law, Employment and Labour laws and Family and Succession Law. She is also interested in mergers/joint ventures, contract management, ethics and compliance, negotiations, contractual agreements, legal advisory and support.

Work Experience:

• Part of a team that represented and advised an array of clients drawn from various sectors of employment and labour related matters including representation in court, drafting of employee contracts, advice on termination dismissals, redundancies and restructuring.
• Part of a team that successfully defended a sugar company at the NEMA Tribunal.
• Part of a team that conducted legal, compliance and regulatory audit at National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation.
• Reviewing client’s corporate governance structures and giving advice on legal, compliance and governance.
• Part of a team that successfully defended a cabinet secretary at the Anti-Corruption Court.
• Part of a team that deliberated on the student’s election petitions at the UON Elections Tribunal.
• Part of a team that got various stop orders to stop construction of illegal buildings that had violated the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act (EMCA) in the Karen-Langata Area.
• Represented various insurance companies in personal injury claims.
